They are common elements in our diet but, do you really know the amount of nutrients they can bring to our children?  We will analyse these two ingredients and then combine with myOlibaby to get the perfect formula.

Potatoes belong to the family of carbohydrates, major energy nutrients.

  • It has potassium and contains also small amounts of magnesium and iron.
  • Low sodium
  • Contains several B vitamins
  • Does not contain gluten
  • The carrot is the most used edible root in the diet of people for its many advantages.

One of these advantages is that it stimulates the appetite, which can help us with little kids.

Other properties:

  • It is a vegetable rich in vitamin A, important for promoting growth and bone development.
  • Protects the child against infections.
  • Beneficial properties for vision
  • Power defences

Puree preparation:

  1. Peel the potatoes and carrots. Wash before and after to remove any residues.
  2. Cooking. Add the chopped ingredients (no small pieces) once the water is boiling.
  3. Crush the ingredients adding the broth to the desired final texture.
  4. Add one packet of myOlibaby, in this way we enrich the flavour of food and complete our plate with the energy that the baby needs in the most important months of development.

We do not recommend that you keep the puree for more than two days in the fridge and to inform your pediatrician of any changes that occur in your baby’s diet.
